General Surgery

Dr. Lalezarzadeh is one of the most prolific General Surgeons in Southern California. As a board certified Surgeon, he is a highly versatile generalist who excels in multiple surgical subspecialties.
He regularly performs surgical oncology to help diagnose and treat different types of cancers.He is highly recommended for major surgeries addressing gastrointestinal cancers. He routinely performs gastrectomies to treat stomach cancer, Distal Pancreatectomies to address pancreatic cancer, Colectomies and Proctectomy surgeries to address colo-rectal cancers. He performs advanced breast cancer surgeries, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, and sentinel lymph node biopsy.
Thyroidectomy and Parathyroidectomies are performed, amongst many other routine general surgery operations.

Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery

After being one of the first to introduce Robotic Surgery to the Inland Empire, Dr. Lalezarzadeh is still one of the only General Surgeons in the area to offer highly specialized, state-of-the-art surgical service to his patients. He has perfected and introduced robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques to the respective hospitals he works at. Some of these operations include Robotic Single Incision Cholecystectomy (scarless trans-umbilical gallbladder removal), Laparoscopic Common Bile duct Exploration and stone removal (large patient series with high success rate), and the TAMIS procedure (Transanal Minimally Invasive Surgery) to reduce scarring and blood loss in rectal cancer and polyps. He routinely performs minimally invasive surgeries for colo-rectal diseases (robotic and laparoscopic colectomies), hernias, reflux disease, amongst others.

Advanced Wound Care

In addition to his surgical training, Dr. Lalezarzadeh excels in the field of advanced wound care. Surgical Edge is a premier resource for patients across the county who have difficulty with chronic wounds. Dr. Lalezarzadeh combines an array of advanced wound care methods including Hyperbaric medicine, Wound V.A.C. therapy, serial debridement, and allotransplantation. This multi-prong approach uses consecutive treatments, resulting in high success rates for patients with previously untreatable wounds. He has had great success in limb salvage operations to save and avoid amputations.
